“So, first off I want to say that Cole is an excellent mover, yet this move was far from excellent. I'll be honest, the move was scheduled for 4-7 pm arrival and they didnt show up until 9:30 pm. One of the movers actually quit halfway through and walked home (big oof). However, the company did send somebody as a replacement (thankfully). We finished the move at around 12:30 am (so about 3 hours), but they did not charge me extra for the multiple inconveniences that I had experienced. Ths company did everything within their power to try and make my move right, and I respect that. The only reason I still couldn't give a 5 star was because my dresser was broken (one of the legs was stripped off the screw holding it to the side so now it wobbles and the drawer doesnt want to stay seated correctly). But hey, if something goes wrong they make every attempt to make it right. Cole deserves a permanent raise!”
“I am rating 4/5 simply out of opportunity that the estimate team will realize they can't underestimate move quotes / timing (and expect the moving team to deliver upon it). I questioned why I only had 4 movers (for such a sizable house), but was encouraged to stay with the quote. I had shown every piece of furniture virtually. During my move, it was very apparent I should have been staffed with 5-6 movers (vs. 4). Ultimately, the move was very successful with quality, but I felt terrible for the actual crew that the time period was so much greater than originally thought. Dalton, Brantley, Wesley, and Cole were my crew and they were AMAZING--truly a quality move, with no defects, and with an extremely positive interaction. I wish the quoting team had set them up with more support. Otherwise, an amazing experience, and I truly given credit to the crew (mentioned above) that we had that successfully navigated us to our new home!”
“The team that came to move our house was overall pretty good. This was my first time hiring movers, and they did a good job of packaging all my valuables so that they wouldn't get damaged. However, one of my console table legs did get slightly cracked during the move. Everyone wants to not have any damages, but things happen during a move. They were able to repair my table leg and return it back to me. I was very appreciative of that. I think its more important to evaluate how companies respond to you when there is a problem versus trying to find a company that's problem free according to reviews. All of us are humans, so we're going to make a mistake, but its important to own up to the mistake and fix it, and Personal Touch Movers did that.”
