Using This Site
Everything on these pages is general background about what we do. On its own it is not a contract — the estimate you sign and the bill of lading are what govern your actual move.
Quotes And Booking
- Each estimate is based on the rooms, belongings, access, and dates you give us.
- Local jobs bill by the hour or as a binding written flat rate, one-hour minimum.
- Your date is held by a $90 deposit that comes off the final bill.
- Should the actual job differ from what you described, we talk over any change first.

Authority And Coverage
Personal Touch Movers operates as a licensed and insured North Carolina moving company holding US DOT and MC authority. Standard released-value coverage runs $0.60 for each pound of an item; you may add full-value protection up to $1,000,000 for an extra fee, as set out in your agreement.
Claims And Governing Terms
If anything is lost or damaged, tell us in writing within the period your moving agreement and the law allow, and we will guide you through the claim. Your signed agreement, the bill of lading, and North Carolina law together control the job.
